Package Description

This course re-emphasizes the use of N95 respirators, problems with infection control shortcuts, COVID-19 Websites, and describes the emergence of viral variants during the COVID-19 pandemic. 

Strategies for implementing COVID-19 guidance in dental settings are based upon the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) guidance, and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements.

• describe how mutations can lead to variants of viruses.
• describe the proper N95 respirators to be used in dentistry.
