Package Description

This course emphasizes worker restrictions, quarantines, information on COVID-19 variants, and differences between mRNA and vector-borne COVID-19 vaccines. 

Strategies for implementing COVID-19 guidance in dental settings are based upon Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) guidance, and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements.

Learning Objectives:

After completing this course, learners should be able to:

  • describe some problems with improper use of personal protective equipment.
  • describe how mutations can lead to variants of viruses.
  • describe the proper N95 respirators to be used in dentistry.
