Package Description

Suction lines are essential in dentistry. When the vacuum pump goes down or suction lines get clogged in an operatory, the whole office is shut down. Since the COVID-19 pandemic, suction lines are being used for more than just saliva and water management; we depend on them to decrease aerosols. High evacuation suction is being used in all the ops now and putting drain vacuum pumps and suction lines. There’s little information out there about how to properly maintain suction lines for maximum efficiency but, more importantly, patient and team safety. This session will look at what’s lurking in our suction lines as well as how to properly use and maintain them for safety and maximum suction.
