New and emerging pathogens have forced the dental industry to navigate shifting regulations and make changes to their daily operations. Despite efforts by professional organizations and government entities to provide the most current, up-to-date guidance on infection control protocols, a variety of breaches are still occurring creating an unsafe environment, threatening the health of dental team members and their patients, and placing the dental practice at risk. This course will provide participants with a review of current infection prevention guidelines that will assist with mitigating risk, avoiding breaches, and creating a culture of safety in the dental office.
