Eve Cuny, MS, CDIPC

Eve Cuny, MS, CDIPC, is the Executive Associate Dean and Professor of Diagnostic Sciences at University of the Pacific, Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco, California. She has lectured and published widely on infection prevention and control, and patient safety, and has worked globally with government agencies, universities, and nonprofit organizations to develop best practices in infection control and sustainable oral health programs. Professor Cuny is past Chairperson of the Organization for Safety, Asepsis and Prevention (OSAP). She also is member of the National Occupational Research Agenda Council in the Healthcare and Social Services Sector, a liaison representative to the Healthcare Infection Control Practices Advisory Committee (HICPAC), a consultant to the ADA Council on Dental Practice, and member of the Healthcare Acquired Infections and Antimicrobial Stewardship advisory committee to the Washington Department of Health.

Bhumika Patel, RDH, MSDH, CDIPC

Bhumika Patel, RDH, MSDH, CDIPC is a Registered Dental Hygienist, an Assistant Professor, and the Manager of Infection Prevention & Control at the University of California, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco, CA. She’s also a writer and editor for the California Dental Hygienists’ Association Journal as well as the president of the Delta Pacific Dental Hygienists’ Association. She’s a member of the American Dental Education Association and the American Dental Hygienists Association.
