Updates from the CDC Division of Oral Health and CDC Guidelines, Recommendations, and Resources (On-Demand)

This session will provide updates from the CDC’s Division of Oral Health (DOH). Topics covered will include DOH’s strategic priorities, budget, and main program and activities; a summary of current CDC research projects; updates to CDC’s Interim Infection Prevention and Control Recommendations for Healthcare Personnel During the Coronavirus Disease 2019 Pandemic; and statuses of additional CDC infection prevention and control guideline updates. A review of the resources available on the DOH website will also be provided.

1. Explain how CDC DOH supports infection prevention and control practices in dental settings.
2. Describe updates to CDC’s infection prevention and control for healthcare personnel guidance.
3. Identify resources available from CDC DOH to assist providers in dental healthcare settings.
