The systematic development of an infection control program is essential to ensuring consistent, safe practices. Policies that are evidence-based and comprehensive will help support the program. Continuous evaluation and improvement of the program is a crucial element in providing the safest dental visit. This session will guide participants through the process of developing, updating, and implementing policies that support a facility-specific infection control program. Methods of continuous evaluation of the program's effectiveness will also be discussed to help ensure early identification of insufficiencies in safety and infection control.
