The 2023 OSAP Tribal Infection Control Boot Camp was a fast-paced, foundational-level educational course presented by national and international experts in infection prevention and patient safety.

The course was specifically tailored for Tribal healthcare participants practicing in a multidisciplinary healthcare delivery center, new to infection prevention and safety seeking an introductory understanding, or those who want to build on, apply, or enhance existing knowledge. It is perfect for those with infection control oversight responsibilities within integrated outpatient facilities and primary care medical homes. This may include:

Course completion fulfills one of the requirements to be eligible to take the Certified in Dental Infection Prevention and Control®(CDIPC®) and/or Dental Industry Specialist in Infection Prevention and Control® (DISIPC®) certification exams, the only infection control certifications in the U.S. specifically developed for dentistry.

NIHB IPC Training & Certification Scholarship
 
The National Indian Health Board (NIHB) is offering a scholarship opportunity for Tribal infection control officers and health officials to complete online or in-person training courses and to cover the cost of infection control certification exams - including CDIPC®. Applicants must provide all required documentation (certification of completion, a receipt for course or exam) during the scholarship application process.
